Bald scalp area can be divided into three simple Regions
- Frontal
- Mid Scalp
- Crown
Frontal Region
This region extends between the front hairline and the vertical line drawn in front of the ears.
Mid Scalp Region
This region extends between the vertical line drawn in front of the ears, to the vertical line drawn behind the ears. Laterally mid-scalp extends up to the outer canthal plane. Mid Scalp is a relatively flat region.
Crown
This region starts from just behind the Mid scalp, its posterior border is the upper margin of occipital hair.
