At ILHT we use a combination of three regenerative treatments — ECM, PRP and Regenera Activa to help transform weakened hair into healthy, strong hair.
ECM stands for Extra-Cellular Matrix and contains three important proteins: Laminin, Collagen, and fibronectin. ECM once injected into the scalp, forms scaffolding designed to attract bone marrow stem cells. After gathering on the scaffolding the stem cells work to help generate new blood vessels, collagen and skin cells. This process helps the weaker hair become stronger and helps restore the normal hair growth cycle.
Platelet-rich plasma, sometimes referred to as PRP, can be harvested using a centrifuge. Once activated with Calcium Chloride, the PRP releases many important hair growth factors like IGF & FGF, among others.
Activated plasma provides a scaffold to these growth factors to help create new blood vessels, promote collagen formation and help regulate hair cell growth.
The REGENERA ACTIVA method involves processing hair and skin cells from a donor area through a specialized device and deriving stem cells and growth factors from the filtered tissue. Once separated, these stem cells and growth factors, with their regenerative abilities maximized, are injected in the thinning areas of your scalp.
For over 10 years I’ve had incredible success using ECM combined with PRP, but the recent addition of stem cells from the Regenera Activa system is now producing even more impressive outcomes.
The unique combination of all three of these treatments provides my clients with the very best regenerative support available. Our new approach allows us to fortify the body’s natural capabilities for
regrowth using its own augmented stem cells and growth factors, all without unwanted side effects.
